Research InterestsSpatial-temporal point processes, the spectral analysis of stationary processes, the corresponding statistical inference, and their applications - especially in the field of biophysics.My advisor is Professor David Brillinger, and we are collaborating with Professor Robert Glaeser (Molecular and Cell Biology and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) on statistical issues arising in cryo-electron microscopy of single particles at molecular dimensions. I am also collaborating with Professor Sir David Cox of the University of Oxford on problems arising in applied probability from the field of stochastic epidemics.
