| • | Cove Fort is a city located in the state of Utah. It was founded by Ira Hinckley (an ancestor of Gordon B. Hinckley) at the request of Brigham Young. One of its distinctive features is the use of volcanic rock in the construction of the walls, rather than the traditional use of wood in many mid-19th century wooden forts, which has allowed the fort to remain standing today.It is the western terminus of Interstate 70
