Popularly known as GEC-T, this college was established in 1954 , foundation stone was laid by the first prime minister of india, Jawahar Lal Nehru and inaugrated by first chief minister of kerala , Pattom Thanu Pillai.It is approved by the AICTE and also accredited by the National Board Of Accreditation(NBA). The College is affiliated to the Calicut University and is one of the most respected engineering colleges in India.
This college provides Bachelor of Technology Degree(Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication,Computer Science),Master of Technology Degree(Computer Aided Structural Engineering (Civil),Production & Industrial Engineering (Mechanical) ) and Master of Computer Applications Degree.
