Nanjing Road (्&#-2524;&#-340;਷&#-1175; is the main shopping street of Shanghai and one of the world's busiest shopping streets. It is located in Huangpu District and extends from The Bund to the People's Square. There are two sections, namely, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West.
Nanjing Road is now reserved for pedestrians after having been redesigned by a French architect.
Nanjing Road leads directly to the Bund (Wai Tan), which is a famous site that attracts many tourists.
