Kadena (嘉手納町; -chou) is a town located in Nakagami District, Okinawa, Japan. As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 13,734 and a density of 913.16 persons per km². The total area is 15.04 km². Aprox 85% of Kadena, Okinawa is controlled by the US Government making up Kadena Air Force Base; Second largest base in the USAF.
