Difino
| • | Keel to Thee, O Divine Master is an underground avant-garde consortium from Canberra, Australia. Their esoteric line-up generally consists of Kevin Roth: modified acoustic guitar (of Kevin Roth & Hümanity), Wesley Parish: arbitrary percussion (of Consecrated Parish and Dante's Hell), David Wallace: conventional drum kit (of AMM-inspired quintet, Crypt, and Parkway Casper), David Thompson-Seagraves: laptops & machinery (also of Crypt) and Hamish Spielberg: bass guitar (of Imperious Wÿrm). Frequent collaborators with the group include electric guitarist "Lummox" (known only by this moniker), Hammond organist Patrick Godfrey and pianist Leon Smith. Their sound has been described as a mélange of Einstürzende Neubauten, Boredoms, Melvins, Ruins and Musica Elettronica Viva. Their output is extremely difficult to find, though they have released several albums, including their debut, "Crypt Sonics & Archangels", "Satyricon Æ", "Zealots Yet to Be Slaughtered, "Ça Va Bien, Merci", "Bush Lookins", "Celebrity Guests Are Not Welcome" and "Nein Dividender!". Many of these are only available on vinyl, though their so-called 'seminal' LP, "Operations of the Minimalist Research Underground", has recently been pressed on CD. KtTODM refuse to tour beyond Canberra. Source: [wikipedia: keel to thee, o divine master]
