| • | One of the things that has always held fan interest is the game that shall appear on the cover of Nintendo Power magazine. From the first issue (July/ August 1988), which featured Super Mario Bros. 2, to the most recent issue (December 2005), which features Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, there have been a great variety of covers.
The covers are usually animated by the NP staff on computers, or images from the respective game are used to create the cover. However, numerous celebrities have graced the covers, and early issues saw the use of clay models recreating scenes from the games. Below is a list of NP covers.
