| • | Korea Campus Crusade for Christ, is one of many oversea mission posts established by its parent organization, Korea Campus Crusade for Christ. Although there were efforts to expand Korea Campus Crusade for Christ, Los Angeles, in the 80's and 90's, it was not until 1996 when Rev. Dong Whan Kim revitalized the organization and propelled it into one of the largest interdenominational Korean mission organizations in Southern California. Its main focus is evangelism and discipleship with world mission as its ultimate goal. One of its prime ministries is the campus ministry that covers some of the largest college campuses in Southern and Northern California, including University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Irvine, University of California, Riverside, University of California, Berkeley, California State University, Long Beach, California State University, Northridge, University of Southern California, Cal Tech, and others. Other ministries include summer oversea mission trip where members are encouraged to participate in oversea missions to countries that includes, but not limited to, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Activities during the mission may include, cross-cultural event, teaching English to foreigners, showing JESUS film, and performing Tae-Kwon-Do demonstration. Since 1997, Korea Campus Crusade for Christ, Los Angeles, has been conducting annual summer mission trip that now includes upwards of 300 college students participating in the ministry as short-term missionaries. From September to June of every year, Korea Campus Crusade for Christ, Los Angeles is involved with ministries such as E-Crusade, Vision Conferences, Sports Day, Mission Rally, as well as regular chapel meeting by individual campuses that caters to the spiritual needs of college student across the Southern and Northern California. Individual campuses are also divided up by small groups headed by a small group leader known as soon-jang who presides over the meetings and care for its members. Small group meeting is an integral part of its ministry where each member is encouraged to interact on a one-on-one basis with its group members and the soon-jang to develop a bond that may well go beyond the college years.
