| • | George Patton (1803 - 20 September 1869), Lord Glenalmond, was a Scottish politician and judge. He studied law at Edinburgh University. He was Conservative Member of Parliament for Bridgwater, Somerset from 1865. He was appointed Lord Advocate in 1866, and appointed himself to the bench as Lord Justice Clerk in 1867 with the judicial title Lord Glenalmond, partly to avoid inquiry into charges of bribery in connection with his election to Parliament. He committed suicide in September 1869.
