| • | Arthur Dewar, Lord Dewar (1860 - 14 June 1917) was a Scottish politician and judge. Born in Perth, Scotland, the 4th son of John Dewar, distiller, he was educated at Edinburgh University. He was admitted to the Scottish Bar in 1885. He was Liberal Member of Parliament for Edinburgh South from 1899-1900 and from 1906-1910. He briefly served as Solicitor General for Scotland from 1909-1910.
