| • | On Comedy Central's animated reality show spoof Drawn Together, the character of Ling-Ling is killed off seemingly at random in a number of episodes. Sometimes his death is important to the story, but most of the time, it's just a random occurrence. This is most likely a homage to the many deaths of Kenny McCormick on South Park. However, there is one key difference. Kenny remained dead for the rest of the episode, then came back in the next episode as if nothing had happened. Ling-Ling is usually brought back alive and well in the very same episode. Here is a list of the episodes featuring Ling-Ling's temporary demise. (For the record, Ling-Ling is not the only character who is victimized in this manner. Toot also dies frequently- see list of Toot Braunstein deaths.)
·In "Requiem for a Reality Show", he - along with Clara, Toot and Xandir - suffocate in an 'oxygen competiton' retold by Toot in a flashback. It remains unknown, however, whether the losers actually died in the outcome or they were rescued in time.
