Turton was an urban district in Lancashire, England from 1894 to 1974. It was split in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, with the southern part going to the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton in Greater Manchester, and the rest remaining in Lancashire as part of the borough of Blackburn.
