| • | Belmont is a village in Lancashire with about 500 inhabitants and two pubs. It lies about 8 km northwest of Bolton in a valley between Anglezarke Moor and Turton Moor. The dam of the Belmont Reservoir stands immediately north of the village.
The Winter Hill TV Mast stands on Winter Hill about a km southwest of the village. Note that there is a Belmont Transmitter but that is in a completely different part of the country.
