| • | John E. Murray Jr- Chancellor and Professor of Law of Duquesne University and former dean of both the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Villanova Law School. Dr. Murray served as president of Duquesne University from 1988 to 2001 capping what the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette referred to as an "extraordinary tenure" that set "a standard of excellence and achievement that is truly remarkable and may prove hard to equal." (Post-Gazette, April 18 2001.) His treatise, "Murray on Contracts" (Lexis Publishing, 2001) is used by law students and practicing attorneys across America and has been cited in judicial opinions by courts in numerous jurisdictions, including the United States Supreme Court. He is also the principal author of the supplements for the landmark multiple volume treatise, "Corbin on Contracts." Dr. Murray has authored nineteen books and numerous law review articles on the law of contracts and sales. In 1992 he teamed with his former law student, Jon Hogue, to practice law and is a name and consulting partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Murray, Hogue and Lannis. He was appointed in 2004 to serve as representative on the Oversight Authority for the City of Pittsburgh by Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell. Dr. Murray lives in Whitehall Pennsylvania, near the City of Pittsburgh with his wife Liz. He has four children and six grandchildren.
