| • | The Education (CEE), was established in August 1984 as a Centre of Excellence supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, and affiliated to the Development (NFD). CEE has its main office in Ahmedabad, India and works towards promoting environmental awareness.
CEEࢀ&#-2509; primary objective is to improve public awareness and understanding of environmental issues, with a view to promote the conservation and wise use of nature and natural resources.
CEE has 29 offices (in year 2005)including regional cells in Bangalore (CEE South), Guwahati (CEE North East), Lucknow (CEE North), Ahmedabad (CEE West) and Pune (CEE Central); state offices in Delhi (CEE Delhi), Hyderabad (CEE Andhra Pradesh), Raipur (CEE Chhattisgarh), Goa (CEE Goa); and several field offices. It has international offices in Australia and Sri Lanka.
