| • | The Des Plaines Theater is a theater in Des Plaines, Illinois. During the 1970s and 1980s, it was a sticky-floored, "dollar" show, offering 1st and 2nd-run mainstream movies. It was partially gutted by fire and remodeled and re-opened.
Sometime in the 1990s it was purchased by someone from India and began showing primarily Bollywood films.
