| • | Houshin Engi (॰&#-3929;&#-1698;়&#-2713;&#-87;) is a Japanese manga and anime series, loosely based on an ancient Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi. The manga series was created by Ryu Fujisaki and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1996–2000. It was published in Japan in 23 tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. The manga has not at this time been licensed for North American release. The anime series was released as the Senkaiden: Houshin Engi (ऻ&#-2393;&#-2740;़&#-2336;॰&#-3929;&#-1698;়&#-2713;&#-87;) TV series in Japan in 1999 and in North America on DVD as Soul Hunter in 2001. It is 26 episodes in length. There are significant plot differences between the novel, manga series and anime.
