| • | Asaminami-ku is one of the eight wards of the city of Hiroshima, located in the South of Asa-gun: now-defunct district.
Asa-gun was consisted of Gion-cho, Yasufuruichi-cho, Sato-cho, Numata-cho. But Gion-cho is now-defunct. After being merged with Hiroshima in 1973, this ward began named Asaminami-ku.The most station of Astramline Vehicles: a new traffic system are in Asaminami-ku. This system brought population inflow because of increasing houses.
