| • | This article is a list of highways that are in the metropolitan area of Perth, Western Australia. Only highways either fully in the metropolitan area or Interstate/Regional highways that are heavily used in the Perth area have been listed. Generally the quality of these highways are similar to any major road in Perth - they generally are triple or dual carridgeway (in some areas they can still be single carridgeway) with speed limits generally between 50-100 kilometres an hour depending on the usage of the area where the highway is located. Traffic Signals are in use at intersections with major roads and some minor roads. Roundabouts may also be in use at certain intersections. Residential, Industrial or Commercial buildings can be found on many of these highways, especially the older highways. Some of these highways could be upgraded to freeway status in later years with the construction of Interchanges.
