| • | Spring Garden, along with Barrington Street (which it adjoins) and Quinpool Road, is a major commercial and cultural district in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. It comprises Spring Garden Road, South Park Street, and a number of smaller side streets. Despite the number of panhandlers on Spring Garden Road, the area easily remains the trendiest in Halifax.
Spring Garden Road is home to a number of bars and shops, making it busy both day and night. On Spring Garden one can find the Main Branch of the Halifax Regional Library, the Law Courts, the Technical University of Nova Scotia (now the Sexton Campus of Dalhousie University), the Halifax Public Gardens, and St. Mary's Basillica. The area is also adjacent to the Citadel and the Halifax Metro Centre; several major hotels are located nearby.
Spring Garden Road is nicknamed "The Strip" or "Skin Garden Road".
