| • | Isesaki (伊勢崎市; -shi) is a city located in Gunma, Japan. A small city located near the geographic center of Japan's main island of Honshu, Isesaki is the fourth largest city in Gunma Prefecture. On January 1, 2005 the towns of Akabori and Sakai and the village of Azuma from Sawa District merged with the city. As of this merger but with December 1, 2004 population data, the city has an estimated population of 207,562 and the density of 1490 persons per km². The total area is 139.33 km².
