Difino
Ōno (大野郡; -gun) is a district located in Gifu, Japan.
The district is located in a mountainous region near the geographic centre of Japan. Prior to February 1, 2005 the distirct comprised of 7 small communitees but has since merged into the expanded city of Takayama. Ono district now only contains the village of Shirakawa.
As of April 1, 2004 and counting only the village of Shirakawa, the district had an estimated population of 1,933 and a density of 5.4 persons per km². The total area was 356.55 km².
