| • | There are two villages in Finland named Amerikka (Finnish for "America").
One is located in Juva, in Southern Savonia, whilst the one is located in Vieremä, in Northern Savonia. Both villages were named because Finns who planned to emigrate to the United States ended up in settling down in these villages.
