Brough is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, located on the Northern bank of the River Humber, approximatetly 10 miles West from Hull city centre. It is part of the Elloughton-cum-Brough parish. The village was known as Petuaria during Roman times, and served as the capital of the Parisi, a Celtic tribe. The village is served by the Hull to Selby and Doncaster railway line. A direct rail service to London is provided by Hull Trains.
