| • | Santan is an unincorporated town located in Pinal County, Arizona. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 651.
Due to rapid construction of homes in the northern portion of Pinal County, residents have attempted to petition for incoporation of Santan in 2004. With their plan unveiled in April, an attempt to get approvial from a neighboring community of Florence failed later during the summer. The other communities of Queen Creek, Mesa, Gilbert have approved of the incorporation.
