| • | G (1978-) is a multimedia artist based in Portland, OR.
A renowned electronic music artist, she is half of the nerd clash band Rodeo and one-third of the (now defunct) experimental electronic music project The Moms. She also releases solo music under the name 50-Foot Daria. She is a classically-trained trumpet player with an education in jazz composition.
Musical projects aside, Aimee G is rising up in the ever-expanding movie-making world. She spent two years working with filmmaker July on her experimental lady-made movie distribution project, Jackie before branching out on her own into music video direction and screenwriting. Her photography has been exhibited in a handful of galleries around Minneapolis and Portland.
Aimee G is also an award-winning visual artist, most of her work falling under the category of mixed media, although she is also a respected furniture maker and sculptor. On top of it all, she has spent over a decade of her life in improv comedy, including professional experience with ComedySportz and her own personal "funny lady improv troupe," Herself.
Aimee G was born and raised in the suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota but has called Portland her home since August of 2000.
