| • | Newburgh (sometimes Newburgh on Ythan) is a coastal village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
It is near the mouth of the River Ythan and the Sands of Forvie. Known mostly for peace and one of the best nature reserves and largest eider duck colonies in Britain, Newburgh has also been a victim of bombing in World War 2. A fire gutted a house in 2005, and a year previously there was an armed robbery. Also in summer 2005, a tornado was reported at Meikle Loch just outside Newburgh.
